The publisher Corte del Fontego organized a discussion with Lidia Fersuoch, Sergio Pascolo and Giampietro Pizzo, and Paola Somma, who wrote  “Benettown”, “Imbonimenti” and “Mercanti in Fiera”. These texts respectively address the participation of private subjects to Venice’s urban development, the two-fold meaning of the word “imbonimento” as reclamation of new ground and undeserved appreciation, and the unsatisfactory cultural result of the partnership between the Architecture Biennial and EXPO2015.
